Max is a well-connected and respected government and stakeholder engagement specialist.

Max’s expertise covers strategic communications, government relations, stakeholder engagement and issues management for public and private sector projects. He provides strategic counsel to help clients navigate high-profile and complex issues that span across business, media and government.

Before joining SEC Newgate, Max led the rebuild of commercial talkback radio in Brisbane, setting up local broadcasters and programming for the biggest Australian talk network. In four years he managed the growth of the broadcaster to be the most local radio station in the market.

Max has previously worked in Sydney and Adelaide building broadcasting teams and working with some of Australia’s highest profile media talent. He also worked on national football coverage for the radio rights broadcaster.

Max holds a Bachelor of Media and Communication from Queensland University of Technology.
